Milk/Juice Cartons – Hornets, please use the trash can with the screen on the top when emptying your juice or milk carton after each meal. Do not just dump the cartons into the regular cans, as it makes a huge mess for the ladies cleaning up the cafeteria later.
Halloween Dance – Our first dance of the year is Thursday night, October 27, 2016, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Skyhawk Room. Students are allowed to wear their Halloween costumes, however no masks that cover the face and no weapon-like props will be permitted. Admission to the dance is $4.00, $3.00 with a student body card, and $2.00 with a HHH card.
No School Friday – This is the last week of the first quarter of the school year. There will be no school this Friday so that your teachers can work on grades and your report cards.
Hornet Basketball – Wednesday afternoon will be the first game of the basketball season for our 7th and 8th grade basketball teams. The hornets will be taking the court against the gold generals of Fremont. Tip-off time is a 4:00 pm with the 7th grade game and the 8th grade game will start immediately after. Good luck boys!
Red Ribbon Week – Next week is “Red Ribbon” and each day we will have a theme to dress-up in support of being totally DRUG FREE! Monday: “Drugs are Scary” – wear your Halloween costume, Tuesday: “Lei Off Drugs” – wear Hawaiian, Wednesday: “Proud To Be Drug Free” – wear ALL red, Thursday: – “Drugs Make You Crazy” – wear crazy hair, socks, hats, etc., Friday: “Our School Chooses to be Drug Free” – wear your hornet colors…Black and Gold!
Lost & Found – Items in our lost & found bin have been laid out on tables in the main hall. Please make a point to stop to see if any of these lost clothing or shoe items might be yours.
Lunch Free Time – The 8th graders will be down at the lower field this week.
Lunch Food – Please remember that the cafeteria is the place to eat your lunch, not on the way to the field or the gym. Food belongs in the cafeteria and must be eaten there only.
