Halloween Dance – Get ready, get scary, and get yourself to the Halloween Dance tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk room! The cost of the dance is $4.00, $3.00 with your student body card, and $2.00 with a HHH card. There will be pizza, soda, and candy available to buy and snack on. You are welcome to wear your Halloween costumes, but please remember masks covering the face are not allowed and no weapon-like props. This is a “hornets only” dance – no guests, only ghosts!!
No School Friday! – Just a reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow. It is the end of the first quarter and teachers will be working on grades and report cards. Enjoy your three-day weekend!
Red Ribbon/Spirit Week – Hornets, don’t forget that next week is spirit week! Let’s celebrate being drug free! Monday: “Drugs are Scary” – wear your Halloween costume, Tuesday: “Lei Off Drugs” – wear Hawaiian, Wednesday: “Proud To Be Drug Free” – wear ALL red, Thursday: – “Drugs Make You Crazy” – wear crazy hair, socks, hats, etc., Friday: “Our School Chooses to be Drug Free” – wear your hornet colors…Black and Gold
Picture Re-Takes – If you were not at school on picture day in September, you can take advantage of “Picture Re-Take” day, please come to the office and get a packet. If your parent wants you to have retakes, please come to the office and get a “re-take” packet. “Picture Re-Take” day will be next Wednesday, November 2nd.
Volleyball VS Football – Next Friday during 6th and 7th period, the annual 8th grade volleyball vs. football game will be happening. All students are invited watch this epic event!!
