Wow Buck Party – Thursday afternoon during 7th period, we are going to have another one of those amazing WOW buck parties! You have enough time to get caught doing good and earning those WOW bucks to attend. You can enter the WOW buck party with one of three ways…pay 10 WOW bucks, 2 cans of food, or 1 can of food and 5 WOW bucks. You can purchase hot chocolate for 10 WOW bucks. There will be music to listen to, snacks, and time to hang out with friends.
Battle of the Books – We will meet this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Lent’s room.
Spelling Bee – If you would like to start studying for this year’s spelling bee, please come to the library to pick up a list of words from Mrs. Gale. Spelling Bee competitions will begin in February.
Christmas Dance – Hey hornets, the holiday season has arrived and we get to celebrate with a dance on Friday, December 9th! The dance will be held in the Skyhawk Room from 5:30 to 7:30 at night. Wear your ugly Christmas sweaters, reindeer antlers, or elf gear! Put on as much tinsel and Christmas cheer you and your friends can muster – it’s going to be a fun night!
Elk’s Lodge Christmas Canned Food Drive – It’s time to bring in those donations for the annual Elk’s Canned Food Drive. We are asking all Coffenberry students to bring in canned foods, boxed foods, and other non-perishable food items to support the cause. Please bring any items to Morning Meeting and stack them on the stage. Let’s show that Coffenberry cares!
Popcorn $ale – The Myrtle Creek Elementary parent group will be selling popcorn on Friday during lunch in the Skyhawk room. You can buy your popcorn for $.25 a bag, or flavored popcorn for $.50 a bag.
MCE Santa Store – Coffenberry students will be able to shop at the Myrtle Creek Elementary Santa Shop on Thursday, December 8th, at lunch free time. This is a great time to buy Christmas gifts for your parents, brother and sisters, or friends – and everything is just $1.50! The Santa Store will be held in the MCE DLC building.
