Lady Hornets – Today, the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams will be playing their games at Fremont against Fremont Blue. The game bus will be leaving at 3:00pm with the 7th game beginning at 4:00pm and the 8th graders playing immediately after. Good luck girls!
Coffenberry Wrestling Tournament – On Saturday, we will be hosting the annual Coffenberry Wrestling Tournament. Admission to the tournament is $1.00 and the concession stand will be open, as well. Schools from all over the Umpqua Valley League and then some will be here to compete in this tournament, which runs all day on Saturday.
Hands Off! – Lately there have been reports of students hitting/slapping/tapping other students on their behinds as a game or joke. Please keep your hands to yourselves. Students who are caught not following this expectation will have a serious consequence.
WOW Buck Party – Friday afternoon we will be having a WOW Buck Party! Admission to the party is ten WOW bucks and there will also be soda and snacks for you to purchase with your WOW bucks. “How can I earn WOW bucks?” you ask? By doing the right thing at the right time, even if noone else is doing it! Following all three of our school rules to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. In other words…get caught doing good and let’s have some fun on Friday!

Myrtle Creek Elementary Aide – If you are a 7th or 8th grade student interested in being an elementary aide for this semester, please stop by and see Mrs. Evans as soon as possible. You MUST be a student in good standing that is safe, respectful, and responsible.
Honor Band – Teachers, please excuse the following students at 8:15 this morning to go to the band room. These musicians are participating in Honor Band at UCC today. Noelle Ankle, Edward Ashby, Miguel Egger, Grace Morris, Haven Pickup, Molly Richardson and Kelci Rogers. Congratulations to these students as they take part in such a honored event.
