Speakers/Earphones – Students, you are doing a really good job keeping your phones off and away during class time. However, some students are still wearing headphones or bringing their personal speakers to school. Please leave the speakers at home and keep the headphones out of sight and not around your neck. Thank you.
Yard/Flower Bed – Joe and Marva have done a wonderful job sprucing up our campus. The front flower bed is blooming and Joe has re-seeded some places in the lawn. Please remember to stay off the lawn and help keep our campus looking sharp by picking up any trash you might see laying around.
Track – It’s almost track season hornets! The sign-ups for the 2017 Coffenberry track season are up on the wall outside Peggy’s office and you can ask her for athletic forms if you have not played at sport yet this year. 6th graders will need to have a sports physical to participate. Track practice will start after spring break and if you want to get a head start on your training, you can begin stretching and running now.
Wrestlers – Any wrestlers who have not turned in your wrestling gear, please turn it in to Peggy or Mr. Kuntz this week.
Drama Club – Drama club will be meeting with Mrs. Collins tomorrow after school.
Yo-yo’s – Yo-yo’s are for sale in Peggy’s office through the end of this week.
7th Grade Survey – It’s time to announce the winners of the 7th grade ORI survey. 7th graders, you did such a good job taking part of the survey from the Oregon Research Institute and they are happy to present three of our students with a $20 SOCO gift card. The winning names from the drawing can come down to the office at the end of announcements and collect their prize. The winners are LeAira Sewall, Zoe Shook, and Aubrey Rainville. Congratulations!!
