Orange You Glad It’s Monday?! This week we are showing our support and spirit for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Orange is the theme color for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and it looks like a great sea of orange in our halls! Good job! Tuesday is Crazy Day – keep it crazy and healthy. Wednesday is Mix/Match day where everything is missmatched. Thursday is Pajama Day. Friday is hat day and students can wear their hats for a dollar. All the money raised will go toward to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
UCC/Roseburg Symphonic Band Concert – Tonight there is a special concert at South Umpqua High School at 7:00. Mr. Gronberg will be one of the musicians there! Admission is free, but they will be taking donations at the door. All proceeds will go towards the South Umpqua High School band.
Coin War! The coin war is on!! We have three cans in the office for each grade and Mrs. Lent’s LIFT class is collectiong coins for the Leukemia/Lymphoma society. It’s a competition between the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades! We will be tallying and keeping track of the coins and progress on the poster in the hall by the office. Let’s see which class is going to bring in the most coins!
Lancer Way Camps There are flyers for Lancer Way camps coming up for baseball, softball, and track up at the office. These are great opportunity to learn some new skills and get started on your spring athletic season!
Umpqua Valley BMX – If you like to ride BMX there is a great opportunity for you to ride and even race BMX. Flyers will be going home this week with information and the new Umpqua Valley BMX track is located in Dillard. Stay tuned!
