Name Our Hornet! Starting today, we are beginning a school wide contest. First for a name for our Hornet, and second for a school slogan. The person or persons coming up with the winning name and or slogan will receive a pizza lunch. Students can pick up an entry form at the big Hornet box at the office and return their entries there, as well. Let’s show our school spirit and have a slogan for Coffenberry that captures just how fabulous and fun our school is! And let’s finally given our beloved hornet mascot a name!
Random Reminders – The front doors will be locked until the first entry bell rings at 7:40. Please go down to the Skyhawk room for breakfast and hang out with friends until it is time to come up the hill for classes. Please remember that students are to be in their designated areas during lunch recess and not coming into the main building unless it is an emergency or you have been called to the office. If you walk home, please do not cut through the Mrytle Creek Elementary campus.
Lady Hornet Volleyball – Our 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball team will be playing their first matches at home tomorrow at 4:00pm.
What’s For Lunch Today? Home run hot dog, hamburger/cheeseburger/chicken sandwhich, and nacho bar choices.
