Ceramics Display – When you enter the main doors to the buidling, check out the display of ceramic projects created by the students in Mrs. Mullins ceramics class. After laying dorment for quite a few years, Mrs. Muillins has once again fired up the kiln in the art room and some amazing pieces of art are being produced.
Lady Hornets – This afternoon our lady hornets are once again hitting the volleyball court for the third day straight for their games against Jo Lane Red up at Jo Lane Middle School. Our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams have been competeing hard this week and will continue tomorrow as they head to Coos Bay to the Marshfield Volleyball Tournament that runs Friday evening through Saturday. Good luck to you ladies – have a great game today and a great tournament this weekend!
Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra – The Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra has classes available for students interested in playing a stringed instrument such as a violin, viola, or cello. You can pick up an information flyer at the office.
SUMO Wrestling – It’s time to register for the South Umpqua Mat Organization for those students who are interested in wrestling this year – flyers will be going home with students next week and you can also pick one up at the office.
