Lunch Time – This is a reminder that there should be no lunch food brought to the gym during lunch recess. Please finish your lunch before you are excused to leave the Skyhawk Room for your free time at lunch.
Band Members – Band students, please remember that you are no longer taking your instruments to the band room once you get off the bus. Keep your instruments with you until you are released to come up to the main building.
After-school Help – There will be NO after-school help in Room 13 tomorrow. Students, please remember to leave campus at the 1:15 dismall bell tomorrow.
Awareness Wednesday! Hornets, we want everyone wearing as much pink as possible tomorrow for our breast cancer awareness Wednesday! October is breast cancer awareness month and we want to show our support by wearing pink. There will of course be a homeroom competition to see which homeroom class is wearing the most pink!
Battle of the Books – Battle of the Books members will be meeting during lunch on Friday in Mrs. Lent’s room.
Teen Read Week – Starting this Friday, October 20th and all next week we will be celebrating Teen Read Week! This will be a fun time to do some fun activities plus get rewarded for reading. On Wednesday, October 25th during homeroom time, we will be having a drop everything and read time for the entire school. This will include students and staff. Please make sure that you have a book to read during this time. Also check out the library, Mrs. Gale has added some new books from our book fair.
