Last Week! This is the last week of the first quarter, hornets! Turn in your assignments and finish strong.
Basketball Practice – 7th grade basketball practice is fro 3:30 to 5:30 from now on.
Teen Read Week – Teen Read Week is happening now! Grab some great books in the library and get rewarded for reading! On Wednesday, during homeroom, we will be having a “drop everything and read” session – that includes the staff, too! Ice cream will be awarded to those students who complet their “teen read week” sheet! So starting reading now!
Box Top$ – Bring those box tops in hornets! Thursday is the deadline and it ooks like Mr. PE Bennett is waaaay ahead of the pack on box tops! Who’s class can knock his homeroom off the top of the mountain? Check your kitchen drawers and ask your grandparents – there’s bound to be box tops there!!
Halloween Dance – Our first dance of the school year is this Thursday night! It’s a Halloween dance hornets, so break out those costumes and get ready to do the monster mash! The dance is from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. Admission to the dance is $4.00, $3.00 with a student body card, and $2.00 with a HHH card. There will be soda, pizza, and candy for snacks to buy for $1.00. Remember, no weapon props with your costumes and no masks that cover your face.
No School Friday – There will be no school on Friday this week. Your teachers will be working on report cards.
