Holiday Dress-Up Week – Heaps of Christmas green out there hornets! Way to show your Christmas spirit today. Tomorrow is Santa’s Helper Day so slap on some reindeer antlers or your elf grear and let’s do this! Thursday is Christmas Morning, and Friday is Ugly Sweaters.
Recess Football – Due to players playing too rough during lunch recess, football has been outlawed until after Christmas break. No football at lunch recess for the rest of the week.
Wednesday Help – There will be no After-School Help available on Wednesday this week. All students must leave campus at the 1:15 dismissal bell.
Canned Food Drive – Hornets, bring in those cans to your first period class today through Thursday. We are having a canned food competition between our first period classes. The first period class with the most cans will win a pizza party with their first period teacher and classmates! Don’t wait until the last minute – bring in your cans!!
Flag Crew – Please see Shirley in the office if you would like to help raise and lower the flags here on campus. The flag crews will be changing after Christmas break.
Lady Hornets – If you are a 7th grade girl and would like to play basketball this season, but it’s something you have never done before – come sign up and check it out! No basketball experience is necessary! Don’t miss out on something you wish you would have tried but didn’t. You may just find that you are a natural – come sign up today!
Robotics – Lego robotics club will be meeting today after school.
Hornet Basketball – Our hornet basketball teams have games up at Fremont Middle School this afternoon. Boys, your game bus will be leaving at 3:00 today, with 7th grade tip off at 4:00. The 8th grade team will be playing immediately after. Good luck today hornets!
