Block Schedule – We are on Block A schedule today for Smarter Balance testing, hornets! Remember to take the time to enjoy a snack in between your testing hours and continue to do your very best!

D&D Club Dungeons and Dragons Club will NOT be meeting today after school due to the talent show try-outs.

Basketball Uniforms – 8th grade lady hornets that played basketball – get your uniforms in to Peggy!!

Talent Show –  Try-outs for the talent show will be held this afternoon at 2:30, down in the band room. The try-out line-up is at Shirley’s office so you can come by and see when you are scheduled to try-out this afternoon.There is a possiblity that try-outs will take longer than an hour, so please make arrangements for your grown-up to pick you up after you try-out. Please remember that you must have your music, costume, instrument, or props that are in your act. Please let Mrs. Cockrell know as soon as possible if you will NOT be trying out, afterall. m

Road Scholar Trip – 8th graders who are interested in applying for the Road Scholar Trip can pick-up an application at the office. The application must be filled out and returned to Ms. Collins no later than Wednesday, April 18th.

Home Track Meet – Our first track meet of the season is this Thursday! It is also a home track meet and it will be held at South Umpqua High School. The Coffenberry staff will be working at the track meet, so the doors will be locked up at 2:20 on Thursday. All students must leave campus at the 2:15 bell.

Summer Reading Program If you would like to participate in our summer reading program this summer please pick up a permission slip from our library. Students who sign up will be able to check out 8 books to read during the summer. If you love to read this is definitely for you. This is a great time for students who want to be a part of the Battle of the book program to get started on their reading. Prizes will be awarded for your participation

Shout-Out – A big thank you and shout-out to four girls who volunteered Friday night at the Tri City Elementary carnival; Jade Keeney, Ashlee Everett, Kat McAvoy, and Gracie Myers. You worked hard and helped out where and when you were needed – you represented Coffenberry well that night and we are all very proud of you! Thank you for stepping up!
