Track Meet – This week’s track meet is at Douglas High School on Thursday and begins at 3:30pm.

Track Pictures – Track pictures are scheduled for Friday after school.

Summer Reading Program – If you enjoy reading and would like to be a part of the Summer Reading Program, please see Mrs. Gale in the library to sign yourself up! This is a great time to get a head start on next year’s Battle of Books reading list.

Ceramics Projects – Mrs. Mullins still has quite a few projects from her third quarter ceramics class – so please come by her art room today and get yours if you haven’t already.

Dollar Dance – Leadership is sponsoring a “dollar dance” on this Friday during 7th period. It is one dollar to get into the dance and other snacks will be sold for you to enjoy. Come and have a good time!

Warmer Weather and Dress Code – As our weather continues to improve and temperatures rise, we know you will be wanting to wear shorts and tank tops. But please make sure what you wear to school meets the Coffenberry dress code in our student handbook. If you are unsure, please come by the office and check it out. Shorts must be finger tip length and free of holes above the mid-thigh on the ladies. No strapless or spaghetti strap tank tops or tops that expose the midriff for the girls. Boys’ tank tops cannot have large arm holes. Please remember that the dress code applies to PE as well. Volleyball shorts are not appropriate PE shorts and should not be worn in class. If you wear flip-flops or sandals to school, please remember that they tend to break or cause you to fall; so you might want to have an extra pair of shoes on hand just-in-case.

Cell Phone Reminders – Yesterday we had a lot of cell phone brought to the office because they were brought to class and not placed in the parking lots, or ringing during class time. Please be responsible with your cell phone by having them off and put away during class time.

Daily ORKA –  Ms. Harris noticed Riley Nelson being really kind when he stayed after class to help her pick up pencils she had knocked on the floor. Keep being kind an keep eye out for those who are kind in caring action and words!

What’s for lunch today? Chicken bites with whole wheat roll, nachos, chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, or hamburger
