Canned Food Drive – Hornets! Bring in those cans to your first period class! The canned food drive is going on through the month of October and the winning class gets an ice cream or pizza party! Here’s a quick update: Tied for second place are Mrs. Lent and Mrs. Turner with 8 cans, and Mrs. Mahler’s class is in first place with 15 cans. Let’s see if we can beat both those classes…bring in the cans!
Bathroom Issues – We are having some issues in the girls’ restrooms with ladies flushing picnic supplies, which is a huge “no-no”. It’s hard on our plumbing in this old school. The boys are not acting respectively in the restroom with trash, drawing on walls, etc. Hornets, please make sure you are making good choices when you go to the restroom.
Bike Rack – Students please use the bike rack for your scooters, bikes, skateboards, etc. Teacher classrooms are not the place for your transportation device. When using the bike rack, make sure you lock it up with a bike chain.
