Battle of the Books – We will be meeting this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Lent’s room. Please remember to go and get your lunch 10 minutes early and bring it up. Don’t forget to bring your notebooks.
Canned Food Drive – Here’s the update on the canned food drive, hornets! Tied for third place right now is Ms. Edwards and Mrs. Mullins with 13 cans. Second place is Mrs. Mahler with 19 cans, and in first place is Mrs. Lent with 20 cans! Where is the rest of the first period classes? Come on!!
Lady Hornets – Our 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams have their games today at JoLane Middle School against their Red team. Game time begins at 4:00. Ladies, your game bus will be leaving here at 3:00pm
New Staff Member – We want to welcome a new staff member here on our campus. You may have seen Mr. Mytro on his first day. Please make him feel welcome and part of our Coffenberry family.
Cafeteria – Keep it clean hornets! Make sure you clean up after yourselves during your breakfast and lunch time in the cafeteria each day.
Baketball Tryouts and Signups – 8th grade boys basketball tryouts are today at 4:30pm. There is still time to put your name on the list outside Peggy’s office. If you are in 7th grade and want to play basketball, you also can sign up at Peggy’s office and your tryouts will be at 2:30 on October 22nd.
