Red Ribbon Week – Today is RED DAY here on campus as we begin Red Ribbon Week! “Don’t get caught red-handed doing drugs!” Tomorrow is Tropical Tuesday, Wednesday is Pink Day, Thursday is School Spirit Day, and Friday is Neon Day. We hold Red Ribbon Week to raise awareness and prevention of tobacco, alcohol and drugs. Show your committment to staying drug-free by wearing your Red Ribbon bands and dressing up this week!
Halloween Dance – Get ready for a scary good time, hornets; the first dance of the year is this Friday night! We will doing the monster mash from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. You are welcome to wear your costumes, but please remember to not wear masks or bring props with your costume. Admission to the dance is $4.00 ot $3.00 with a student body card. Treats will be available to buy for $1.00 with no tricks attached. Get excited hornets, the Halloween Dance is going to be so fun!
Crosswalk – If Ms. Jackson or another adult is not at the crosswalk when you need to cross the street; please stop, look, and liste, before you cross. One of our school rules is to be safe and we hope that you put that rule into practice when crossing the street.
Canned Food Drive – Okay hornets, who’s class is going to in first place? Keep bringing in those canned food items to your first period teacher! we should have an update by tomorrow on who is ahead .
