SPORTS PICTURES – Athletes, don’t forget that your photo op is tomorrow with Lifetouch. The 7th grade team will have their pictures first at 2:30; and boys you need to remember to get dressed quickly for photos because your game bus is leaving as soon as your are finished! 8th grade football will have their photos taken immediately after 7th grade at 3:00pm. The 7th garde volleyball team will have their photos done at 3:30 and 8th grade photos are at 4:00.
RED RIBBON WEEK – Next week is our annual Red Ribbon Week and we want to make sure everyone is ready to take a stand on NO DRUGS! We will have themed dress-up days; Monday is Red Day to kick-off Red Ribbon Week. Tuesday is Pink Day to commemorate October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wednesday is Camo Day so we can hide away from drugs, Thursday is Black-out Day because drugs are dark and we are staying in the light, and Friday is Halloween Costume day! Hornets, you are allowed to wear your costume, but please remember that students are not to bring prop weapons or masks.
HALLOWEEN DANCE! The Halloween Dance is next Friday, October 18th from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. There will be a photo booth there to capture the moment for $1.00. Food and drinks will be for sale for $1.00. Hornets, you can wear your fabulous costume to the dance, but again – no prop weapons or masks are allowed at the dance.
LADY HORNETS – Our 8th grade lady hornets have a game this afternoon against Glide here at home. The volleyball game begins at 5:00. There will be no concession stand during today’s matches.
