PICTURE RE-TAKES! Say cheese hornets, because Lifetouch will be here this morning for those students who are new with us since our first photo day and those students whose parents are requesting picture re-takes. Photos will begin at 9am in Mr. Bennett’s health room in the main hall.
KIDS IN THE KITCHEN – There are still a few spots left for the Kids in the Kitchen classes that begin Tuesday, November 5th. This is a great class on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from 2:30 to 3:25pm. Students will learn basic cooking skills and make & taste healthy recipes. If you have picked up a registration form and need to turn it in; do so. If you would like a registration form, come by the office.
END OF QUARTER – Students this is the last week of the first quarter! Please make sure that you are working hard to get your assignments in! Teachers will be doing grades on Friday, so you will not have school on Friday. But make the most of this week and finish the quarter strong!
FALL SPORTS ASSEMBLY – It’s happening Thursday this week? What’s happening? The fall sports assembly! We will be recognizing the athletes that participated in football, volleyball, and cross country this year. The annual 8th grade football vs volleyball game will be taking place at the assembly, as well. So boys – you better bring your game!
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES – Hornets are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes to school on Thursday this week. Same rules apply; no masks or prop-weapons allowed.
