NO SCHOOL FRIDAY – Thursday is the last day of the quarter and there is no school for students on Friday this week. Teachers will be working on report cards.
AFTER-SCHOOL HELP – Remember hornets, there is after school help today in Room 10 with our instructional assistants. This is a great opportunity to use this time to get assignments finished and turned in! Remember, the goal is to get your name on the honor roll so that you can go to Diamond Lake next Friday!
LANCER FOR A DAY – 8th graders, get your permission slips in for Lancer for a Day! Time is running out and you are not going to want to miss all the fun that is being planned!!
SPELLING BEE – Buzz into the library today and grab a list of words from Mrs. Gale so you can sting the competition during the spelling bee!
ETS TODAY – 6th and 7th graders who are in ETS, will be meeting with Jeremy today during lunch in Room 5. Please remember to grab your lunch quickly with a styrofoam tray and bring your lunch back up with you.
BLT TODAY – It’s Wednesday! There is Before Lunch Talk after 4th period today in the gym.
MARCH OF DIMES – We have an update on the March of Dimes donation boxes in the first period classes. So here’s who in the first three top spots. Ms. Harris is in 3rd place with $5.05. Mrs. Lind is in 2nd place with $19.45. And Mrs. Smolensky is in first place with $30.22! There is still today and tomorrow to make those donations and get your first period class in on some fabulous prizes!
SUHS LITTLE CHEER – Students that are interested in being a part of the SUHS Little Cheer program this week can pick up a registration form and information at the office. Practice starts tomorrow!!
SWEETHEARTS DANCE – Get ready hornets, our annual Sweethearts Dance will be on a Thursday night this year on February 13th from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Skyhawk Room. There will be fabulous tunes, tasty snacks, and a sweet photo booth to capture the memories – all for $1 each. We will be voting on 6th grade Lord and Lady, 7th grade Prince and Princess, and 8th grade King and Queen of the Sweethearts Dance. It’s a special dress-up event, but not required. Admission to the dance is $4 or $3 will your student body card.
REMINDERS…Scooter, skateboards, bikes and the like are NOT to be ridden on school grounds. Dress for the weather we are having, not for the weather you want. Do not scream or yell in the halls.
