Take the time to go grab some breakfast when you arrive off the bus each morning. It makes a big difference to your day when you have a little something on your stomach before you start school.
BOOK FAIR – Our online book fair is happening now! Want to know how to get online and check it out? Then stop by the library and talk with Mrs. Gale or Ms. Chapman. There are heaps of good books out there to get your hands on for your very own! J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, is quoted saying, “If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.”
PROGRESS REPORT DRAWING – Hornets, the Progress Report Drawing is coming! Every class that you are earning a “C” or higher in,m your name will be put in a grade level drawing to win a reward party for the class period on your schedule of your choice. So to be clear, you have the opportunity of getting your name in the hat seven times! Winners will bedrawn for each grade level the Tuesday after progress reports.
BLACK/GOLD FRIDAYS – It’s back in Black/Gold!! Let’s fill our halls with as much black and gold as possible on Fridays from now on!! We have football and volleyball games on Saturday, so let’s show our school spirit on campus on Friday and wear your black and gold!!
