HAPPY BIRTHDAY! – A very happy birthday to Natalie Inks today! Natalie we hope you have a marvelous birthday today!!
SPORTS PICTURES – Cross country, volleyball, and football photos will be taken this week on Thursday at 3:30pm.
TOYS – Just a reminder to students that toys are not a thing on our campus. Please leave them at home.
RECYCLING – Please remember to recycle the SunnyD bottles you buy and drink from the Hornet’s Nest. The blue recycling cans are not garbage cans. Please use the garbage cans for garbage.
BAND INSTRUMENTS – Okay hornet musicians . . . the band table by the front door is not a place for you to throw down your instrument, book, and just walk away. Instruments are being left carelessly in the path where people need to walk and come in and out of the front doors. The band table is not your bedroom floor where you can just chuck it down. The instruments need to be place nicely, orderly, and carefully on or under the table where they are not in the way.
WEEKLY HANDBOOK WISDOM – This week we will be reviewing the Coffenberry dress code during morning annoucements. Each week we will be reviewing an important section that students might need to learn about and be reminded of. It’s important to know the “why” of our policies in the student handbook, and not just the “what”. So, today let’s review quickly what the handbook says about what is not allowed on our clothing here on campus. Clothing that has suggestive language, pictures, profanity, messages that promote drugs or alcohol or other items students are not old enough yet to purchase will not be tolerated at school. A good rule is to always check yourself BEFORE you leave the house – “is what I am wearing appropriate and allowed at school?” When you know better, you can do better.
WHAT’S FOR LUNCH TODAY? Cheesy breadsticks with marinara sauce or a chef salad.
