HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Happiest of birthdays to our amazing head librarian, Mrs. Gale. Have a wonderful birthday today, Mrs. Gale!

HATS AND HOODS – Here’s the deal hornets, a lot of you are still having a hard time with the expectation that hats and hoods come off in the classrooms. At this time, we will be implementing a “3 strikes” rule. Just like the cell phone policy; first strike you lose your hat until after class. Second strike you lose your hat until after school. Third strike, you grown-up will be picking up the hat and you will lose your hat priviledge for the rest of the nine weeks or what ever the principal or dean advices. Choose wisely hornets, so you don’t lose this priviledge.

MASKS – We know it’s hard, but keep those masks up and over your nose and mouth, hornets. It’s important as we navigate through the virus to keep everyone healthy and at school.

BUS EVACUATION DRILL – We will be having our yearly bus evacuation drill during 5th period today. Please make sure you are listening carefully to your teachers and the bus drivers that are reviewing all the safety guidelines.

SPORTS PICTURES – Thursday this week, Mrs. Howard from the high school will be taking fall sports pictures for all of our fall sports teams. There will be an order form for students to take home to their families.

HANDBOOK REVIEW – We are reviewing the dresscode in the handbook this week and today we want to talk about the dress code. Shirts! It is important for your shirts to cover your midriff, or tummies. Clothing that reveals you undergarments are not appropriate, so make sure that your shirts to not reveal those items. Be mindful of what you put on in the mornings that what you are wearing meets our campus-wide dress code.

WHAT’S FOR LUNCH TODAY? Soft taco or Italian sub sandwich
