ETS – Educational Talent Search is a college prep program that helps students in grades six through 12 prepare for the transition from high school to college. They meet with students once per month and do activities that familiarize them with the language of higher education, what it takes to earn scholarships, and various financial aid programs. Once each year, middle school students are invited to attend a visit to one of the colleges or universities in Oregon. Each of these trips includes a fun cultural activity such as glassblowing, escape rooms, UO Duck football games, Shakespeare Festival plays. This program is 100% free to the student and their family. Stop by the front office for an application.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS – Do you love to read? We are looking for some readers who would like to form a battle team here at Coffenberry. If you are interested or have questions, please come to the library and get signed up.
FBLA – If you have water, Gatorade, or any other recyclable item – please don’t throw it away. Each container is worth ten cents and FBLA is collecting the bottles and cans as a fundraiser.

HORSEPLAY – Absolutely NO inappropriate touching of one another on Fridays or any other day of the week! It is NOT okay and you will recieve a consequence for this behavior. You have been warned.
LUNCH TIME – Please stay seated at your table during lunch. Those who are asked to go back their tables will receive a lunch detention. It’s only about 12 minutes; you can sit still that long.
