STUDENTS OF THE QUARTER – Congratulations to our Students of the Quarter for the first nine weeks of school! 6th graders: Porter Chapman and Abby Carpenter. 7th graders: Sari Strinz and Kennadi Elrod. 8th graders: Emily Gallagher and Nathan Anderson! Congratulations to these hornets who are doing such a great job representing Coffenberry! 7th and 8th graders can come up to the office after announcements to pick-up your certificate and prize.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE – We are collecting canned and boxed food items during the month of November for the Elks Lodge. We have a goal of 4,000 food items, so let’s share what we CAN and help out our community. You can leave your donations in the boxes in the main hall and track our progress on the big red thermometer. Let’s do some good and bring in those cans!
HOMEWORK HELP – There is an opportunity for students to get a little extra help with school work on Wednesdays after school starting next week. Homework Help is for an hour after school from 1:25 to 2:25 on Wednesdays. There is no bus for students to take home, so your grown-up will need to pick you up from school at that time. Please come by the office if you are interested in signing up for Homework Help.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS – Tomorrow the Battle of the Books students will be meeting during their Enrichment class. 6th grade hornets in Battle of the Books will meet in Mrs. Lent’s room after 3rd period. 7th and 8th grade Battle students will go to the library after their enrichment class. Remember this is tomorrow!
