CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Our can count as of yesterday afternoon – we have 202 food items. We still need 398 items to meet our first school-wide goal of 500 to have an all-school holiday assembly on the Friday we leave for Christmas break. Mr. Hannah is SO sure that you can’t all bring in cans, that he has challenged the student body. If we gather 3,000 food items – Mr. Hannah will offer himself to be feathered – how can you pass that up? Do you really want the elementary schools or the high school to beat us? We are so much better than that – share what you CAN!
SPORTS PHOTOS TODAY – Today, after school, the girls basketball team and Hornet Cheer will be having their sports photos taken. Please make sure you have everything you will need for photos today.
LADY HORNETS! Our lady hornets will be taking on the Sutherlin Bulldogs this afternoon at 4:00pm. Please remember that if you are coming to watch the game and support our athletes, you are required to wear a mask in the gym. Students are not to stay after school and wait for the game. All students must leave campus at the end of the school day. The concession stand will be up and running by FBLA.
CHROMEBOOKS – Hornets, please remember that it is YOUR responsibility to bring your Chromebook with you each day; charged and ready to go! The Chromebook you were issued needs to be taken home to work on assignments and charged – then brought back to school with you every day. We do not have enough Chromebooks for you to have an issued at home and then one checked out each day. Please be careful with your Chromebook and charger, as well. We are having to replace quite a few lately from carelessness.
