Hornet families, it is time to register your student for the 22\/23 school year! You should have a received a registration packet in the mail with information to register your middle schooler. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our office at 541-863-3104. The office crew is here Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm through August 18th. Please note that the week before school begins (8\/21 – 8\/25), our Coffenberry staff have multiple meetings and trainings throughout the district, and will be unavailable at certain times throughout that week. FALL SPORTS<\/strong> – The first day of practice for 7th\/8th grade football is Monday, August 14th. 7th grade football practice is from 8am to 10am. 8th grade football practice is from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Volleyball practice starts Tuesday, August 15th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. All athletes need to have the following paperwork turned in before<\/strong> they can participate in athletics at Coffenberry; current physical, insurance form, and athletic contract. <\/p>\n\n\n\n WHEN DOES SCHOOL START?<\/strong> The first day of school for 6th graders is on Monday, August 28th. This day is reserved for 6th graders only! It will be a day of orientation, getting schedules and lockers, and learning how this new school year is going to unfold. Our 7th and 8th graders will be back with us on campus on their first day, Tuesday, August 29th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n WHAT TIME DOES SCHOOL START??<\/strong> First period begins<\/strong> at 7:40am! Their day will end at 2:15pm (1:15pm on Wednesdays with early release).<\/p>\n\n\n\n BUS TIMES AND STOPS<\/strong> – Please call the office and talk to Shirley if you need morning and afternoon bus numbers and times for your student at 541-863-3104.
