Monday, October 3, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Volleyball Challenge &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>On Wednesday, October 5th, the 8th grade volleyball team is taking the court against our Coffenberry staff during 6th and 7th period. This is a fundraiser and fun event!! The cost to attend the volleyball game is $1.00 in REAL money, not WOW bucks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Big Thank You! &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Thank you to everyone who supported and bought books at the book fair. It was a swashbuckling good time!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Walk to School &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, October 5th is the 20th anniversary of &#8220;Walk to School Day&#8221;!\u00a0Try to make it a point to WALK to school and support the cause.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ETS College Search<\/strong> &#8211; Jeremy the ETS guy will be here Friday to pick up any final applications for the ETS program. It is a great way to learn about and get prepared for college. The applications are bright green on Shirley&#8217;s counter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday at Tommy&#8217;s &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>On Friday, October 7th, all students will have the opportunity to pay 25 WOW Bucks to walk to Tommy&#8217;s and enjoy an ice cream treat! Please make sure you are saving those WOW bucks so you don&#8217;t miss out on this delicious treat. Those that do not have the WOW bucks to go will be staying behind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s For Lunch Today?\u00a0<\/strong>Corn dog nuggets, oven tots, black bean salad, fresh broccoli, sliced pears, orange wedges<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joke of the Day &#8211; <\/strong>What is a ghost&#8217;s favorite dessert?
