Thursday, October 5, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ETS College Search<\/strong> \u2013 Jeremy the ETS guy will be here Friday to pick up any final applications for the ETS program. It is a great way to learn about and get prepared for college. The applications are bright green on Shirley\u2019s counter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Battle of the Books \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We will have our first meeting this Friday, October 7<sup>th<\/sup> in Mrs. Lent\u2019s room during lunch. Please make sure you are signed up in the library so we can send you a 10 minute out to lunch early pass on Friday.\u00a0 See you there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday at Tommy\u2019s \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>On Tomorrow, October 7th, all students will have the opportunity to pay 25 WOW Bucks to walk to Tommy\u2019s and enjoy an ice cream treat! Please make sure you are saving those WOW bucks so you don\u2019t miss out on this delicious treat. Those that do not have the WOW bucks to go will be staying behind.<strong> \u201cHow do I get WOW bucks?\u201d you ask? \u2013 \u2013 By getting caught being Being Safe, Being Respectful, and Being Responsible.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Musicly Club &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>The first meeting for the Musicly Club will be on Tuesday, October 11th, after school in Mrs. Duffy&#8217;s room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>School Rules &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Lately we have been seeing some behaviors from students not following our three school rules to &#8220;Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.&#8221; Please <strong>Be Safe<\/strong> &#8211; which means wearing shoes at ALL times. <strong>Be Respectful<\/strong> &#8211; which means using appropriate language. Students will be issued a consequence for using foul or inappropriate language.<strong> Be Responsible<\/strong> &#8211; which means be the policeman of your own business.
