Wednesday, October 26, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Halloween Dance \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Tomorrow night is our first dance of the school year! Here&#8217;s your chance to sport your Halloween costume before the 31st arrives and wear it to our Halloween Dance. The dance is from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Skyhawk room. There will be pizza, soda, and candy for sale to snack on. The scary smooth dance tunes will be spun by DJ FrankenSimpson. Hornets, please remember that even though you can wear your costume, you cannot have on a mask that covers your face or have with you any weapon-like props with your costume. Lets all have a scary good time tomorrow night!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>No School Friday \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>This is the last week of the first quarter of the school year. There will be no school this Friday so that your teachers can work on grades and your report cards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hornet Basketball \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Today our hornet basketball teams will be having their first games of the season here at home! Tip off time for the 7th grade boys is 4:00 and the 8th grade boys will play immediately after. Students, you are welcome to come and watch the game and support our teams &#8211; however, you may not stay after school to just hang out until game time. Students need to leave campus after school and then come back for the basketball games. We want to wish our boys basketball team the best of luck today as they start their season off this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Red Ribbon Week \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Next week is \u201cRed Ribbon\u201d and each day we will have a theme to dress-up in support of being totally DRUG FREE!<strong> Monday:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cDrugs are Scary\u201d \u2013 wear your Halloween costume,\u00a0<strong>Tuesday:<\/strong> \u201cLei Off Drugs\u201d \u2013 wear Hawaiian,\u00a0<strong>Wednesday:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cProud To Be Drug Free\u201d \u2013 wear ALL red,\u00a0<strong>Thursday:<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cDrugs Make You Crazy\u201d \u2013 wear crazy hair, socks, hats, etc.,\u00a0<strong>Friday:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cOur School Chooses to be Drug Free\u201d \u2013 wear your hornet colors\u2026Black and Gold!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lost &amp; Found \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Items in our lost &amp; found bin will be laid out on tables in the main hall.
