Lunch Free Time –\u00a0<\/strong>This week, the 6th graders are in the lower field for lunch free time.<\/p>\n

Hornet Basketball –\u00a0<\/strong>The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams will be playing their games today up at Jo Lane Middle School against the Jo Lane Red teams. Game bus will be leaving at 3:00 and the 7th grade team tip off is at 4:00, with the 8th graders playing immediately after. Good luck boys!<\/p>\n

Battle of the Books – \u00a0<\/strong>We will meet this Friday during lunch in Mrs. Lent\u2019s room.<\/p>\n

Spelling Bee –\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0If you would like to start studying for this year\u2019s spelling bee, please come to the library to pick up a list of words from Mrs. Gale. Spelling Bee competitions will begin in February.<\/p>\n

Christmas Decorations \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>As you can see, the Coffenberry halls have been decorated for the holidays. These decorations were purchased with love by Mr. Park\u2019s father for the students of Coffenberry to enjoy. It is our hope that our students will respect the ornaments hanging in the halls and not jump up to touch them.<\/p>\n

Winter Weather \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The cold weather has arrived! Dress in layers, throw on a coat, and leave your flip-flops at home. Dress appropriately for the weather we are having \u2013 not the weather you want.<\/p>\n

Christmas Dance \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Hey hornets, the holiday season has arrived and we get to celebrate with a dance on Friday, December 9th! The dance will be held in the Skyhawk Room from 5:30 to 7:30 at night. Wear your ugly Christmas sweaters, reindeer antlers, or elf gear! Put on as much tinsel and Christmas cheer you and your friends can muster \u2013 it\u2019s going to be a fun night!<\/p>\n

Elk’s Lodge Christmas Canned Food Drive –\u00a0<\/strong>It\u2019s time to bring in those donations for the annual Elk\u2019s Canned Food Drive. We are asking all Coffenberry students to bring in canned foods, boxed foods, and other non-perishable food items to support the cause. Please bring any items to Morning Meeting and stack them on the stage. Let\u2019s show that Coffenberry cares!<\/p>\n

Manequin Challenge –\u00a0<\/strong>If you are interested in participating in the “Manequin Challenge” here at Coffenberry, stayed tuned and listen up for further information and all the details!!<\/p>\n
