Monday, February 4, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Happy Monday and Happy February Hornets!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Word of the Week &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>We are going to park on the word &#8220;respect&#8221; for the next couple of weeks; allowing it to really sink in and make a difference here on our campus. This morning, I would like to just read a couple of the contest entries to our &#8220;definition of respect&#8221; we held last week. 8th grader, Victor, says &#8220;respect is treating people the way they should be treated; with fairness and kindness. 6th grader, Draxton, says &#8220;respect is to be kind, friendly, helpful, and thoughtful &#8211; and to be mindful of other people around you.&#8221; So, as we start this new nine weeks of school, lets put in to practice what we KNOW about respect for ourselves and others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s for lunch today?\u00a0<\/strong>Fish sticks and tots, or variety bar choices<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Monday and Happy February Hornets!!
