LANCER FOR A DAY! 8th graders, please turn in your Lancer for a Day permission slips! Our first event is coming up and you are not going to want to miss it. Bring your permission slips in to the office ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
YEARBOOKS – Final orders for the eyarbook are due on Friday, that’s tomorrow!! If you want a yearbook, you need to buy one NOW! Once they are ordered, we cannot order more. Yearbooks are $20 and you can purchase them at Peggy’s office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SPELLING BEE – It is time to start studying for our school spelling bee. If you are interested please pick up a list in the library on the front counter. There will be prizes for the top county spellers. 1st place will win a new laptop! See Mrs. Gale if you are interested!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SPORTS PICTURES – Lifetouch Photography will be here today for winter sports pictures. Lady Hornets, your pictures are at 3:30 this afternoon. Wrestlers, your photo will be at 5:30 at the high school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
LADY HORNETS – Our girls basketball teams have home games again today. This time they are taking the court against the ladies of Fremont Blue. 7th grade tip off is at 4:00 and the 8th graders will play immediately after. FBLA will have the concession stand open for business. Hornets, please remember to be a good home guests as you stay and support our athletes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
8TH GRADE ETS – 8th graders who are in ETS, you will be meeting with Jeremy tomorrow at lunch, so you will be excused early to go down and get your lunches “to go” on a styrofoam tray and meet with Jeremy in Room 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
REMINDERS – *Students who do NOT take a bus home every day, do NOT need to be walking down to the buses with their friends. Please make your way to where you go after school without making a detour down to the buses. *If you are interested in sharing your fabulous talent with the rest of the student body during BLT, come to the office and sign up. *Remember that students are to go to the Skyhawk Room when they arrive to school in the mornings for breakfast – even if you don’t eat you can grab a snack for later. Students are not to be waiting outside the front or back doors until the bell rings for students to come in at 7:35. Students are not to be in the building before 7:35 each morning. *We are a fragrance-free school, so please do not spray the body sprays in the halls or lockerrooms. *Binders belong in lockers – not on top of trophy cases, in the halls, hidden under stairs, outside, or in the lost and found. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
