WILD WILD WEST WEDNESDAY\/ST. PATRICK’S DAY!<\/strong> Howdy pardners! We are having a rootin’ tootin’ wild west Wednesday on this wonderful St. Patrick’s Day here on campus; where a little bit of the wild west meets the shiney happy sparkle of the emerald isles! There’ll be no pinching cowpokes who have no green happening today! If you need a little green – stop by the office and we will hook you up! Great job dressing up this week, hornets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRACK SIGN-UPS –<\/strong> Dust off those track shoes, hornets, it’s time for TRACK! If you haven’t signed up yet, put your name up on the wall by Peggy’s office and check with her about getting your athletic paperwork in. Track practice will begin after Spring Break – after school at 2:30. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CROSS WALK – <\/strong>Hornets, please remember to use the crosswalk when you are going to and from your band and Home Ec. classes. Even though we are in a slower school zone, care speed around the top corner and don’t tend to look for students. Please be a responsible hornet and follow the expectation to use the crosswalks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FAMILY ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY!<\/strong> We are having a Coffenberry Family Trivia Challenge on Family Engagement Day this Thursday, March 18th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students get the opportunity to try and show they know more about Coffenberry than the Parents and Guardians.  There are going to be AWESOME prizes for the top 10 Parents and Guardians as well as the top 10 Students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st<\/sup> -$40 Visa Gift Card<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2nd<\/sup> – $25 Amazon Gift Card<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd<\/sup> – $10 Tommy\u2019s Gift Card<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4th<\/sup> \u2013 10th<\/sup> places $5 Soco or Justice\u2019s Java Gift Card<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will receive a flier with the link to participate on today during 7th period. The Challenge will be open all day on the 18th<\/sup>, so everyone will have a chance to play!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

**To ensure you have a chance to win, make sure you enter your real first and last name in the game.\u00a0 Winners must be students of Coffenberry Middle School or a Parent or Guardian of a Coffenberry Student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NO SCHOOL DAYS\/SPRING BREAK –<\/strong> Since Thursday is Family Engagement Day, that means that Friday, your teachers will be holding phone\/Zoom conferences – so there will be no school on Friday this week. Next week is Spring Break, so enjoy yourself and be safe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
