LIBRARY BOOKS – <\/strong>All library books will be due back to the library by May 28th. Please make sure that you get your books returned on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUMMER READING PROGRAM –<\/strong> If you would like to participate in our summer reading program and be able to take books home over the summer to read, please pick up a permission slip from the library. Prizes will be awarded for anyone who participates and tracks their reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GIRLS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM –<\/strong> 7th and 8th grade girls that would like to shoot hoops after school from 2:20 to 3:20 – are welcome to meet Mr. Nutter in our Coffenberry gym. Open gym will be happening until next Friday, May 14th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DRESS CODE –<\/strong> Ladies, the short shorts – jeans or athletic shorts need to be the correct length. The length of the shorts should be at the mid-thigh. Please be aware that the shorts you wear to school need to be school-appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOT TOPIC OF THE DAY <\/strong> –<\/strong> It is disrespectful to the Coffenberry staff when students disregard a request to follow expectations in the classroom, halls, gym areas, bus loading areas, etc. Please respect the instructional assistants; especially during breakfast and lunch free time. The staff is here to ensure that our students get the education they deserve and that our campus is a safe and respectful environment. We have three school rules: BE SAFE, BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE. Let’s put this into practice each day, hornets! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK – <\/strong>Today is the last day of Teacher Appreciation Week. Have you taken a moment to thank your teachers or perhaps left them a note? Give your classroom teachers an “air high-five” today and let them know how fabulous they are!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT’S FOR LUNCH TODAY?<\/strong> Cheeseburger or hamburger with fries or tuna sandwich<\/p>\n\n\n\n
