Title 1 money for parent engagement:
- What do families need to come to meetings, to get more, what are obstacles:
- Consider sports schedules with time
- Childcare
- Letting people know about meetings:
- Text comes the day of; can this be the night before?
- To receive texts ( must approve to get the messages, opt in)
- dojo ahead of time ( maybe a few days before, like on Monday) , on the social page
- As a reminder you can bring your child to the meetings
- Possibly investigate childcare if we have a continued need for it
- Baker offered to do this in her room.
- Attendance postcard update- still too many and even if they were excused, emergency contacts still getting notified. Perfect attendance notifications daily to elementary families for a few days now.
- Seems to be some system glitches
- Do a newsletter with monthly meeting dates, times, and invite students if need
- Possibly send a survey about meeting times to make it more accessible for families to attend
