School closure notification for South Umpqua High School
High school will be back in session on Tuesday, January 24.
South Umpqua High School will be closed on Monday, January 23, 2023 for students and staff. All activities scheduled at the high school are also canceled.
There was a minor heating unit fire that occurred at the high school over the weekend, so we will be having crews out on Monday to assess and verify that all systems are working properly.
This closure is ONLY for South Umpqua High School. ALL other schools are operating on normal schedules.
