South Umpqua School District 2025-2030 Strategic Planning 

We are engaging in a strategic planning process to align our goals and strategies while ensuring clarity of focus for the future.

Why We Are Doing This:

Our objective is to create a cohesive plan that reflects the needs and aspirations of our educators, students, and the community to meet our mission to unlock the potential in every student. By gathering feedback, we can establish clear goals and effective strategies, as well as determine how we will measure our success.

What We Are Focusing On:

We will be examining our past performance to inform our future direction. This process will involve analyzing input from educators, students, and community members to develop a comprehensive plan for the next five years.

How We Will Achieve This:

1. Steering Committee: A steering committee that includes various constituents from our community is guiding the formulation and steps in the plan.
2. Data Gathering: We are conducting interviews and surveys, as well as reviewing achievement data to gain insights into where we are, and where we want to go as a community.
3. Accountability Measures: We will identify ways to hold ourselves accountable for the goals we set and the strategies we implement.
