Social Emotional Learning
South Umpqua School District is excited to announce that we’re reviewing potential K-12 Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum options for fall 2026. SEL helps students manage emotions, build relationships, and make responsible decisions—boosting academic success and creating a sense of belonging. SEL prepares students for lifelong learning and future careers. Community members are invited to review curriculum options—Character Strong, Second-Step, and Wayfinder—at the Service Center (558 SW Chadwick Lane, Myrtle Creek) from October 27 to November 14, 2025.
